Lindsey Bader
Director of Recruitment and Selection
As a Recruiter, Lindsey seeks exceptional talent to join Northwestern Mutual, Salt Lake City. She started her career with Northwestern Mutual in 2017 after receiving her BA in Psychology from Stetson University and nine years of high-end restaurant sales management.
Lindsey is originally from New York but moved to Jupiter Florida at a young age. Seeking new adventures in 2022, Lindsey relocated to Salt Lake City and currently reside with her husband and dog Bandit. In her spare time, you will find her active in Women United for the United Way of Salt Lake City or traveling the world one beach at a time.
Christopher Peterson
Director of Campus Recruitment and Development
Christopher brings over 12 years of experience in sales, customer service, and performance management to his role at Northwestern Mutual. With a background in leading sales teams and coaching individuals toward success, he brings a personalized, development-focused approach to recruitment. As a wellness business owner, he also brings an entrepreneurial mindset to the team.
He oversees hiring and development for the Financial Representative internship program, building strong relationships with local colleges like the University of Utah, Westminster, and Ensign College to connect with top talent.
Outside of work, Christopher enjoys hiking, golfing, and traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines. He’s passionate about wellness and personal growth, always seeking new ways to evolve both personally and professionally.
Alex Brianne Spencer
Recruiter
As a new full-time Growth Partner, Alex is excited to begin her career at Northwestern Mutual, Salt Lake City. She recently graduated from University of Utah with a BS in Psychology and Sociology, and previously worked in retail management.
Alex is originally from Boise, Idaho and moved to Salt Lake City five years ago for school. When she’s not growing the firm, you’ll find her spending time with friends, family, and teaching classes as a Lagree fitness instructor!

Brent L Moyes
Growth and Development Director
Brent is originally from Syracuse, UT, and has been happily married to Stacie for over 20 years. They live in Farr West, Utah, with their four children – one daughter and three sons. The family shares a passion for music and sports, actively engaging in their children's pursuits and enjoying outdoor activities together. In his free time, Brent enjoys road and trail running, road and mountain biking, golfing, and skiing, in addition to coaching his children's soccer teams. Transitioning to Northwestern Mutual in August 2016 after being a client since 2006, Brent sought new opportunities for personal and family growth after almost a decade in the corporate world. He has played a key role in advising clients and closely held businesses on financial planning. Brent honed his leadership abilities during his tenure as a Growth and Development Director and Chief Growth Officer, Brent is excited to continue his journey of empowering others to reach their full potential.
