About Steve

Steve is originally from Crystal Lake, IL and now lives in Libertyville. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 19 years, Brooke, his two children Madelyn & Sawyer and golden retriever Willow-T.

They are a big sports family and fans on and off the field. Madelyn plays soccer for Libertyville High School and Eclipse Select and Sawyer plays football and baseball. Watching their kids play sports is one of Steve & Brooke's favorite things to do. They also enjoy water skiing during the summer and going to Chicago Bears Games during football season.

Giving back is very important to Steve and his family. He is a member of the Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV) Chamber of Commerce where he served on the board for 5 years, most recently as secretary and now elected Chairman for 2021. The Kopalas participate in different fundraising for charities including Alex's Lemonade Stand, Misericordia & the Super Jake Foundation - all near and dear to their hearts!
