Personal

Steve Saber lives in Waterford Wisconsin with my wife, Wendy and our two children, Dylan and Isabel. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, boating, skiing, and the great outdoors.

Lending a hand in my community.

Steve Saber loves what he does for a living, and the freedom that his career has extended to him. This flexibility gives Steve the opportunity reach out to his community and participate in the following organizations:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Kyle’s Korner

Kyle’s Korner is a nonprofit organization that assists young and older children in the Milwaukee/Waukesha community work through the pain, grief and hardship following the death of a parent. Steve Saber has been active with Kyle’s Korner for over five years, serving on its Board of Directors, acting as Vice President, and helping out at the center: Steve’s leadership and ingenuity resulted in the implementation of the Kyle’s Korner Memorial Recipe Book fundraiser and a newly formed partnership with the Milwaukee/Waukesha Funeral Director’s Association. His impact, however, is not confined to the boardroom, as Steve spent time putting in a new ceramic tile floor at the center and even volunteered as a male model at the 2004 Kyle’s Korner Fashion Show fundraiser.

In addition, Steve also coaches basketball with the Tichigan Youth Basketball organization.

Professional

Steve Saber joined Cornerstone Financial Group right after graduating from UW-Whitewater. During college, Steve sold books door-to-door to make extra money; he realized he would rather make a real difference in people's lives, as opposed to making a quota. As a goal-oriented individual, a career as a financial representative gives Steve the opportunity to have an impact in his clients' lives while maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit.

As a financial representative, Steve Saber enjoys working with business owners, individuals, and families by analyzing the market, economy, and current financial environment. He applies this analysis to create solutions that are as unique as his clients.

Steve Saber believes that professional involvement and development is an important aspect to being able to fully provide for his clients. Steve is a member of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), a national nonprofit organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide, through its federation of over 900 state and local associations. Founded in 1890, NAIFA is the nation's largest financial services membership association.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
