Tom Wideman

Tom Wideman was born in Hartsville, SC and grew up in Marietta, GA. He attended Walton High School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University in 1999. After his time at Clemson, Tom played ten years of professional basketball overseas which included teams in Venezuela, England, Germany, and Spain. 

All three of the Wideman boys (Ryan, Adam, and Logan) were born during Tom's tenure in Spain. They are all three avid baseball players. Ryan plays collegiately at Georgia Highlands College in Cartersville, GA. Adam and Logan play for Walton High School. 

Tom has a passion for coaching youth sports and is an active member of Mount Bethel Church in East Cobb. In his free time, he loves playing golf, working out and spending time with his sons and extended family. 

After completing a professional basketball career playing primarily in Europe, Tom began his career as a financial advisor in December of 2009. Since then, Tom and his team have worked with families and business owners to establish and implement comprehensive financial security plans. Tom chose to align his firm with Northwestern Mutual, the preeminent leader in the industry that combines world class proprietary insurance products with unbiased third-party wealth management solutions.  

Tom spent over a decade coaching basketball and baseball at East Side Baseball Association, East Marietta Basketball, Mount Bethel Church and the Walton basketball junior program. Tom loved every second of his time coaching!
