I have always been a voracious learner when it comes to my profession. I have held many roles over my career in the financial services industry and obtained various designations all of which have helped me in better serving my clients.
William Rapp is a Wealth Management Advisor with Northwestern Mutual who specializes in guiding individuals, families and business owners through a financial planning process that recognizes their evolving, yet unique needs. Bill’s main objective is to learn the intimate details of what's important in his clients' lives and then educate them within a financial blueprint into realizing their goals. He has over 35 years of experience working in the financial services marketplace.
Before becoming a Wealth Management Advisor with Northwestern Mutual in 2008, Bill held the following positions:
- Director of Retirement Services for Nationwide Financial Services from 2004 to 2008
- Assistant Vice President of Retirement Services for Provident Mutual from 1993 to 2003
- Various other positions throughout his career within the financial services industry.
Bill grew up in Marlton and here is a summary of his educational experience:
- 1980 graduate of Cherokee High School.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management in 1984 from The College of New Jersey
- FLMI (Fellow of the Life Management Institute) in 1989 from the Life Office Management Association
- QPA (Qualified Pension Administrator) in 2004 from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries.
- Several designations from the American College including:
- Chartered Financial Consultant (2011)
- Retirement Income Certified Professional (2022)
- Chartered Advisor of Senior Living (2012)
- Chartered Life Underwriter (2014)
Bill resides in Marlton, with his wife, Sue and has three adult sons, two daughter in laws, and a granddaughter who all live in the area. He enjoys family vacations at the Jersey shore and ski trips to Vermont, along with family dinners. He is an avid golfer and enjoys staying physically fit.
