Northwestern Mutual Board Elects Dale Jones as New Trustee
The board of trustees of Northwestern Mutual has elected Dale E. Jones to serve on the company's board. Jones is a managing partner at Heidrick and Struggles, a leadership consulting and executive search firm. Jones had previously served on Northwestern Mutual's Policyowners' Examining Committee, an independent group appointed each year to take an impartial and unrestricted look at the company's operations, management and strategic planning.
"Dale is an excellent addition to our board. His professional experience advising executives and board members at Fortune 500 companies will be a tremendous asset to us," said Edward J. Zore, President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwestern Mutual. "For two years, Dale has been an important contributor to our Policyowners' Examining Committee, and we are very pleased he will now serve on our board."
Jones was named to the company's Policyowners' Examining Committee in 2005, and he was selected as chairman of the committee in 2006. More information on the company's Policyowner Examining Committee is available on the company's web site - http://www.nmfn.com/tn/aboutus--nm_policyowners.
