Northwestern Mutual's Internship Ranks #1 in Insurance Industry

MILWAUKEE, WI, December 22, 2009 – Northwestern Mutual is the “Best Place to Start” an internship as a financial representative in the insurance industry, according to survey results from Bloomberg BusinessWeek magazine

Northwestern Mutual’s ranking was determined by feedback from career services directors across the U.S., Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s Best Places to Launch a Career ranking, and self-reported internship data from the company. The Employer Survey Rank considered 2009 data on diversity, interns recruited, hourly pay, total pay, job offers made, job offers accepted, and the percentage of entry-level recruits who were former interns.
