ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours. This year we raised over $80,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation at our annual Cocktails for a Cure event.
Chron's & Colitis Foundation
Christian Henley from our Chesterfield Office: The Chron's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding cures for Chron's disease and ulcerative colitis, and improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Chris serves as the President for the St. Louis board of directors.
Happy to Give
Andrew Mansfield from our Chesterfield Valley Office: Happy to Give started as an annual social activity among his college buddies who have a love for the hit movie, Happy Gilmore. Once a year, the group gathers to play golf during the day and finish the day out watching the movie together. In the 3rd year, Andy decided to switch gears and turn it into a way to raise funds for charities. Click to learn more about their community involvement.
SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation
Nicole Holland-Hong from our Fairview Heights Office: Nicole has been serving on the Board of Governors for SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Foundation since 2013. She is passionate about this great organization and continues to support and participate in various fundraisers, as she has since she was inducted. Nicole has shared her personal testimony of her recent first-hand experience with the amazing care of SSM Health.
