Derrick Dinger
Managing Partner
Derrick Dinger began his career with Northwestern Mutual in 2002 as a College Financial Representative. Early in his career, he quickly distinguished himself as a leader and in 2009 was appointed Managing Director in Aberdeen, SD. As a Managing Director, Derrick earned 3 Achievement Awards and 40% of his recruits hit Pacesetter First 40. In 2018, Derrick was appointed the Managing Partner in Fargo, ND. In the short time he has had with that office, it has already had significant growth in both size and production. Derrick is passionate in giving back to his community, especially college athletics, and has received awards and recognition because of that. Derrick resides in Fargo, ND with his wife, Kristen, and three children, Hudson, Baylor, and Breckyn.
Michelle Ristvedt

Chief Development Officer
Michelle Ristvedt is the Chief Development Officer for the Dinger Firm. Michelle started with NM in 2019 after 18 years in education. In her role as CDO, she is responsible for creating and managing systems that enhance, track, and measure results around advisor development. Michelle and her husband, Blaine, have two sons. She enjoys reading, time with family, and new adventures.
Logan Dosch
Managing Director
After graduating from Northern State University in 2013 and acquiring his business degree, Logan Dosch immediately decided to join the Northwestern Mutual Team. Just starting as an intern, Dosch has been with Northwestern for over 10 years and now is the Managing Director of the Fargo office. In his free time, he enjoys sporting events, working out and spending time with his friends and family. Logan loves serving his clients and community along with his wife, Tori and children all while representing the Dinger Network Office.
Kristen Dinger
Chief Financial Officer
Kristen Dinger graduated from Northern State University with a B.S. in Marketing in 2002. Out of college, she worked as a Paralegal for Richardson Law Firm in Aberdeen, South Dakota and in 2014 joined Northwestern Mutual as the CFO for the Dinger district office. In 2018, she moved to Fargo with her husband and Managing Partner, Derrick Dinger, and continued her role as CFO for the Network Office in Fargo. Kristen and Derrick have three active kids: Hudson, Baylor and Breckyn. She enjoys family time, watching her kids do what they love, home improvement projects and traveling.
Blaine Ristvedt

Director of Supervision
Blaine Ristvedt is the Director of Supervision for the Dinger Firm. He started with Northwestern Mutual in 2021 after 18 years teaching in public education. In his role, Blaine ensures compliance by the firm’s associates of applicable laws and guidelines, industry regulations, and company policies related to the sales and servicing of insurance and securities products. Blaine and his wife, Michelle, have two sons. In his free time, Blaine enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his dogs, canoeing, camping and riding his mountain bike.
Mary Klabo
Director of Recruitment and Selection
Mary Klabo is the Director of Recruitment and Selection for the Dinger Firm. Mary started with NM in 2022 after years in Real Estate and Sales/Recruitment. In her role as Recruiter, her main responsibility is to grow and maintain the culture of our Network and District offices by sourcing high qualified candidates to join our team. Mary strives to build high level quality relationships in the community and network office to promote Northwestern Mutual Financial Network career opportunities. She has two sons as well as a step son and step daughter. In her free time you will find her cheering on her boys, spending time with friends and family, and trying to stay active herself.

James Hendricks
Financial Advisor
James Hendricks began his career with Northwestern Mutual as an intern in the Fargo office in 2019 while attending college at North Dakota State University. After graduation in 2020, he began his full-time career as a financial advisor. He is passionate about learning the priorities and goals of each individual he meets and using that to deliver a thorough and unique financial plan. This work is especially prominent in the farmers and business owners he works with across the region. In 2021, he took on the role of College Unit Director, using his planning philosophy to mentor and develop interns. James and his fiancé Cydney will be married in Summer of 2024. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, snowmobiling, spending time at the lake, and travelling to college and NFL football games.
