Jeff D. Reeter leads the Houston Network Office as Managing Partner. The Texas Financial Group’s territory includes the southern half of Texas. Currently, there are offices in the greater Houston area in the Galleria, The Woodlands and West Houston, as well as College Station. Jeff’s leadership in the Houston Network Office gained notoriety upon winning the Northwestern Mutual Achievement Award. Additionally, the Texas Financial Group has won numerous Growth Awards over the years. Jeff and his wife, Cindy, have three grown sons, Chad, Ryan, and Cody. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys reading as well as outdoor adventure, hiking, fishing, and hunting. He is an active leader in his church, and seeks to engage through serving his community and country.

Tommy joined the Houston network office of Northwestern Mutual as CFO in 2007. Previously he directed the Capital Policy Division at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Washington, DC and represented the OCC in working groups and task forces of the Basel Committee of the Bank for International Settlements. Prior to that he specialized in bank taxation and regulatory affairs at Ernst & Young in Dallas and New York City. Tommy is a graduate of Baylor University. He and his wife Mary Jane have two grown children.

Shannon is the Director of Client Experience for the Houston Network Office of Northwestern Mutual. She joined our team in 2007 and has built a record of achieving growth results for our clients, advisors and our firm. Shannon is skilled in coaching, organization, and field force development with a track record of achieving sales results in addition to client retention. As Director of Client Experience, she designs client experience for our future clients. Shannon works with team members to create smooth, consistent, and efficient work flows, as well as business development, managing the Resource Operations side of our organization.

Shane Frugé joined Northwestern Mutual in 1993. He served as the Disability Insurance Specialist for south Texas for many years, and is now the Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual - The Woodlands. While overseeing recruitment, development and business operations, he also continues to work with many new and existing clients to create financial security for their families.

Casey Wright is the Managing Director for Northwestern Mutual in College Station, Texas. He began his career as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual in 2000 in Fort Worth, Texas and in 2016 was named Managing Director of the College Station office. Throughout his career at Northwestern, Casey has focused on growth and education. He provides expertise in the areas of Business, Investment and Insurance Planning.

David Higgins

David grew up in West Houston. He graduated from Stratford High School and then attended the University of Houston while working full time for Sterling Bank in their credit department. David spent several years in the banking, mortgage and software business before pursuing a life-long passion of financial services. Six years after joining Northwestern Mutual, David was asked to take a leadership position within the company and become a District Manager. In November 2016, the Northwestern Mutual West District Office of Houston was finally opened in the energy corridor with David as the Managing Director. David married his best friend, Hailey in 2012 and they have three beautiful children; Winnie, Hudson and Grady. Together they currently reside in West Houston.
