Living Your Best Money Life
Listen now
When everything's shifting—your job, your location, your income, your priorities—you deserve more than a spreadsheet.
Big changes can feel exciting… and disorienting.
A new role, a big move, a second act, or a business pivot—they don’t just impact your calendar; they affect your cash flow, your confidence, and your clarity.
In 2018, I started biking to work—always cautious, always defensive. But on one ordinary Tuesday, a car hit me anyway.
I remember lying on the asphalt while EMTs asked which hospital my insurance preferred. I was barely conscious yet somehow expected to make financial decisions.
The bills piled up immediately. My shoulder was destroyed. I hadn't seen a penny from the driver's insurance, yet I kept trying to handle everything myself—the medical appointments, insurance calls, mounting debt. I was drowning.
Finally, someone convinced me to get help. I reached out to an attorney I'd known personally, and for the first time in months, someone said, "This is terrible, and I'm going to do everything possible to make it right." Having an advocate who understood the system changed everything.
During physical therapy, I had no idea if the shooting pain meant push through or rest. My therapist became my guide through that uncertainty. She knew exactly how far to push without reinjuring me. I could never have sustained the months of grueling work ahead of me alone.
I keep my mangled bike wheel in my office as a reminder: we don't have to face our hardest moments alone.
That’s where I come in.
I work with people navigating what’s next—
Professionals stepping into leadership or making bold career moves.
Business owners and self-employed folks dealing with income swings.
Couples preparing for retirement—or managing the emotional and financial complexity of leaving work life behind.
You might be earning more or shifting where you live and work.
But more change often leads to more questions, more complexity, and more weight on your shoulders.
I help you slow down, sort it out, and move forward with confidence.
Because a financial plan should flex with your life—not fight against it.
You've worked hard to build something meaningful. Your money should work just as hard to protect and grow what you've created, giving you the confidence to focus on your mission instead of worrying about your financial future.
I'm Brett Heaton Juarez, founder of Heaton Juarez Financial. My team and I believe your financial plan should reflect who you are and what you value most.
We listen first—your goals shape the plan, not our products.
We build at your pace—no pressure, just progress.
We focus on what matters—your values, your family, your future.
This often feels like therapy as much as finance—in a good way 😊
We believe in building partnerships, not just portfolios. You coach the person before you manage the money.
All saving, spending, and investing reflect your values.
We’re not here to hand you a polished binder and walk away.
We’ll talk about why you do what you do, what’s underneath the numbers.
And then we’ll build something that makes sense in your real, full life.
