Meet Cale
Hello! I’m Cale, a passionate financial advisor dedicated to helping others achieve their dreams.
From a young age, I have been fascinated by money. Early in my life, my parents made me work for my spending money, and every dollar I earned felt hard-won., My dad was a general contractor and ran our family business building residential homes. I spent countless hours digging, framing, and finishing homes. This experience taught me the value of hard work and the satisfaction of seeing a project through from start to finish. 🏡 As I got older, I discovered investing as a way to grow my money. The day I turned 18, I opened my first investment account. Learning about my family’s business I saw how money was interwoven into everything we did. These experiences shaped my views on using money as a tool for leverage, savings, investing, and growth. 📈
Fast forward to college, where a chance introduction to a Northwestern Mutual advisor led me to become a college financial representative for three years before I joined Northwestern Mutual full-time after graduation. Over the years, I've taken on various roles, including college unit director and, currently, the Growth and Development for our central Wisconsin offices.
In 2022, I proudly became the youngest person in our network office to achieve the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) designation. Yet, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing clients reach significant milestones. I cherish the moments when we guide families into early retirement, hear about engagements, pregnancies, new homes, and other life events. These milestones are not just exciting; they’re crucial for the financial plans we build together. I collect coffee mugs from cool places I’ve visited, and they’re a staple in conversations with clients as we cherish our adventures and plan for the ones ahead. 🌟
My Life
From my family and from years as an intern, I was fortunate to witness the financial journeys of many individuals, from their early twenties to those in retirement. I learned about the challenges they faced, what really mattered most to them, and how pivotal outside guidance could be. This has accelerated my ability to help others and allowed me to build a foundation to finally marry my college sweetheart, Mia, buy our first home, and now plan for our dream home and future children. I’ve even helped my parents semi-retire, bringing my journey full circle. 👪
I met my wife, Mia, during a pickup basketball game in college, and five years later, in 2024, we said “I do.” 💒 We have a pointer/lab mix named Sparrow, who’s our baby for now. We enjoy going on long walks as a family and we both coach youth basketball. 🐕 🏀 Outside of work, I enjoy boating on the river, hunting with my father in Montana, our annual rifle season camp in Bayfield, WI, and cheering for The Packers and Badgers. I also love reading, spending as much time as possible with family and friends, and traveling around the country. 🏞️ Be sure to ask me about my background in performing arts and a record I helped set. 🎭🏃♂️

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
