Entrepreneurial Spirit

I caught the entrepreneurial bug early by helping with my dad's family-owned, multigenerational, farming business. At age 19, I launched my first enterprise and discovered a love for empowering others toward their dreams. After expanding internationally and creating a lucrative passive income, I started five more companies - successfully selling one and coauthoring an Amazon Best Sellers book.

A Client First

When I initially started making significant financial gains, it was both exciting and scary. I quickly realized that I needed advice about how to handle excess cash, fluctuating income and business complexities. Searching for the best resource, I found that Northwestern Mutual delivered value unlike any other company. They looked at my unique situation and developed a plan utilizing a collection of solutions to achieve my desired outcomes.

Why Northwestern Mutual?

Becoming a dad changed my life, and I decided that a new, professional direction would allow me more stability and flexibility to spend time at home. As a satisfied client for several years, it felt natural to consider the advisor path at Northwestern Mutual. I love how the company helps those just starting out as well as those who are further along on their financial journey. This business enables me to empower individuals, business owners and families to design creative solutions for obtaining their personal and professional goals.

Personal

Growing up in rural central Ohio, I learned to work hard at a young age; Dad tirelessly farmed turkeys and Mom patiently educated children. I met and fell in love with my wife, Cindy, while building my first business in New York City during my 20s.

As my family and circle of friends is extremely multicultural, equality is incredibly important to me. Our passions include growing our biracial family, nurturing worldwide friendships, and continuing to fuel our interest in self-development and entrepreneurship. Diversity is a way of life, and we love exploring it.

Outside of work, I absolutely love sports and traveling. I played college football at Otterbein University and Australian rules football on the US National Men's Team. Fanwise, I root for the Cavs, Browns, and Buckeyes. My wife and I are fortunate to have visited 19 countries on five continents together. As a devoted father of three beautiful girls, I put my kids first and am excited to share many experiences with them as they grow!
