John David grew up in Macon, Ga and is married to Katie Pearce Miller. They have three children - Pearce, Anna Elise, and Betsy. JD enjoys spending time with his family at the Amerson Water Works Park, Ocmulgee Heritage Trail, and other family attractions in Macon. Katie got JD interested in running while they were dating. They continued running during the first 5 years of their marriage and completed a marathon together in 2013. JD is still running and enjoys catching up with friends and clients during a jog.

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
