Get to Know Keith
Keith Capp is a proud Chicagoan that moved to the Washington, DC area after college and now resides in Reston, VA with his family. After college, Keith spent the next decade working in accounting and corporate finance in the DC area. During this time, he earned a Master of Business Administration and Master of Finance from the University of Maryland. Before Keith joined Northwestern Mutual, his son was diagnosed with leukemia, which led him to seek additional financial guidance to help his family navigate the uncertainty. The guidance Northwestern Mutual advisors Jason and Amanda Tiede gave Keith’s family greatly helped him correct the weaknesses in his financial plan. Eventually, working with them convinced him to also partner with Northwestern Mutual.
Keith is a proud husband to Collyn and father of three children, Grant, Hadley and Wesley. When he isn’t working, he is spending time with his family, volunteering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and working on his house.
Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The mission of LLS is to cure Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin's Disease and Myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
