Administrative Assistant
Sherrie attended Minnesota State University Mankato and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She was a stay at home mom for 20 years and is currently a FCCLA advisor in her local school district. Sherrie joined our team in August 2014 as an Administrative Assistant. Sherrie and Lance have 3 adult children, Caitlyn, Kylie and Carter. They also have 7 grandpups: Luke, Sadie, Lucy, Oliver, Harley, Koda and Jedda! Sherrie is an avid reader and camper! She enjoys spending time with family, friends, her dogs and her bunny, BunBun!
Darla Ward
Administrative Assistant
Darla worked in city government before coming to Northwestern Mutual in 2022. Being a very detailed person, she handles everything behind the scenes when it comes to processing Life and Disablity insurance. The best part of her job is when she gets to interact with the clients through phone and email.
Darla and her husband Brian farm near Mapleton and have 3 adult children. In her spare time, she loves the never-ending adventures with her children.
Sam Stevermer
Associate Financial Advisor
Sam has been part of Northwestern Mutual since the spring of 2020 and officially joined our team in the fall of 2022. He graduated from Bemidji State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Sam is primarily responsible for assisting with the investment side of our practice as well as creating and maintaining the financial plans for our clients.
Sam and his wife Kim, along with their three boys, currently reside in Eagle Lake, MN. In his spare time he enjoys following many of Minnesota's professional sports teams as well as the Golden Gophers, soaking up the great outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
