Meet Me

I am from a small city called Port Orchard in Washington state. It lies next to the Puget Sound so growing up and seeing all the different scenery like the ocean, mountains, and trees all in one picture is something I am very blessed to have grown up with. I grew up going to small Lutheran elementary and high schools which eventually brought me to Minnesota where I attended Bethany Lutheran College where I received a bachelor’s degree in communication and a minor in business management. Through high school, I played three sports: baseball, basketball, and soccer. Two of those, baseball and soccer, I continued on in college and won multiple awards for each. I still enjoy playing both of those any time I can, as well as going kayaking and hiking during the warmer months of the year.

Meet my Family

I have one sister who I am very close with and enjoy spending time with her two kids. Being an uncle has been so much fun and do whatever I can to spoil them. With being an uncle, I get to be a dog dad of an amazing English Golden Retriever, Oakley. Oakley and I have been on so many adventures already as we travel back and forth between the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest. My family is a big part of who I am and are a constant reminder of how blessed I am. They support and challenge me to go above and beyond in serving others and going on different journeys in life.

My Story

Growing up, I did not picture myself going down this path but am very excited I did. My background in sports, my family, and the church have shaped me into someone I am proud of. It has created an ethical and determined individual in providing the best care and service possible to anyone that needs it. My mindset of being a successful advisor is how many lives have I affected in the most positive away guiding them to achieve what their version of success is.

Lending a hand in my community.

As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)

ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.

When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.

Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.

It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
