About Maribel
Maribel lives in Orange County California with her Husband Phil. She has two kids. A son in college and a daughter soon to follow. Maribel and her family spend time volunteering for charities such as Living Water, Alex's Lemonade, and Hope Worldwide. They also enjoy taking family vacations across the country or visiting the sunny sands of Cancun, Mexico. As Maribel looks to build her business, she is focused on doing what is in the best interest of her clients with integrity and creativity.
Maribel decided to change careers soon after her second child was born. She said “I wanted to pursue my dream of helping others protect their families and the goals that they have worked so hard to accomplish. I knew a day would soon be coming when I would be encouraging my children to live their dreams and inevitably they would ask if I was living mine. I want to answer them with a YES! And that I lived without excuses. As I challenge my clients to have the courage to look forward and not back, I want to be able to say I did the same.”
A UCLA graduate, Maribel worked as an Oncology Pharmaceutical sales rep serving cancer patients and their families for 7 years prior to joining Northwestern Mutual. She has been serving her clients in the Financial Services Industry since 2006. Maribel is a woman of strength and warmth which has endeared her to her clients. She is forward-thinking, caring, and reliable. These qualities and much more are what have enabled Maribel to be successful for her clients.

Lending a hand in my community.
As part of Northwestern Mutual, I'm proud to help accelerate the search for better childhood cancer treatments while supporting families undergoing treatment, and survivors from late effects. Here are some of the organizations we partner with:
Living Water
Living Water International has been working collectively with others for more than 30 years to share God’s love and make a difference in the world—and it is working! The number of those without access to safe water, while staggering, is fewer today than it was a year ago, or two years ago. Collective action is making an impact! Living Water pursues excellent WASH (Water Access, Sanitation, Hygiene) programming through proven practices and has served over 7 million people globally.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
