BixRo Horse Haven
In 2024, we unfortunately lost my mother, Suzanne Sersun, to a battle against cancer. My mother had a profound passion for horses, which was instilled to her at a young age. In her honor, I have decided to continue her legacy by actively volunteering at BixRO Horse Haven. This is a sanctuary dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of horses. The work they do is truly inspiring, and it brings me comfort to know that I am contributing to a cause that was so dear to her heart. In addition to volunteering, I have committed to making regular donations to BixRO Horse Haven to support their ongoing efforts. Through this, I hope to keep my mother's memory alive and ensure her passion for horses makes a lasting impact.
Tunnel To Towers Foundation
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation's mission is to honor the sacrifices of firefighters, military personnel, and first responders, particularly those who died or were injured on September 11, 2001, and to support the needs of Gold Star families and injured veterans. Specifically, they aim to provide mortgage-free homes to these families and build specialized, smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. They are also dedicated to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping Americans remember September 11, 2001.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours.
