About me
Paul Schreier is a Wealth Management Advisor with the Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company and manages a national financial planning practice.
Paul grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, earning two separate undergraduate degrees (Finance and Computer Engineering). Later, he earned an MBA at Boston College's Carroll School of Management. His original career path was focused on the technology industry, specifically working in sales and marketing in the semiconductor industry, building technology and business relationships with major customers around the world.
As challenging and rewarding as the tech industry is, he decided to change the trajectory of his career toward financial planning. This new horizon allows him to embrace his entrepreneurial spirit while developing long-lasting relationships with his clients as they work to achieve their personal and financial goals.
Today Paul resides in Austin, Texas with his wife and three kids. He enjoys traveling, running, bicycling, playing squash, and tinkering with the latest home automation technology and other gadgets.

How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
