I began my career at Northwestern Mutual in 2010 after being recognized as one of the network's top interns. I have been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2016 and have a passion for helping individuals and families identify their goals, then aligning them with financial strategies designed to provide a great life for their families.

Personal
I am a devoted husband to my high school sweetheart (Dallas), father of two (Brooks and Piper), and dog-dad to our Goldendoodle (Hank). As a 3rd generation Arizona native, I have a large extended family here locally. I am a pretty simple guy - give me family, perfect Phoenix weather and an iced coffee, and I couldn't be happier. Okay, add the beach and I'm set.
Naturally, I am a major Arizona sports fan! I root for all of our teams, but I am a die-hard supporter of the Cardinals and Suns! Speaking of sports, my favorite way to spend free time is on the golf course. I began playing on my high school team, but really picked up the sport when I worked at Pinewood Country Club while going to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Not to toot my own horn, but I am known for crushing the driver and often win "Longest Drive" in tournaments!
Sports get me fired up, and conversations about finances do, too. No, really! They do. Call me a geek, but I care deeply about the financial well-being of my clients, and that translates into the planning I do for them. Just as I am loyal to my family and to my sports teams, I will be loyal to you and yours (but not your sports team, I'll let you handle that).

As a team, we are committed to intentionally giving back to our community on a quarterly basis, in addition to participating in charitable opportunities provided by Northwestern Mutual and in our personal lives. Here are some of the ways we give back:
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer (ALSF)
ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual, its employees, and financial professionals like me have donated more than $20 million to support ALSF and fund over 400,000 research hours. Team Chatham personally hosts an annual fundraiser, leveraging our community to give childhood cancer families hope for a future and a cure.
Running with the Beards Annual 5K, benefitting Phoenix Children's Foundation
A fitness event raising funds for pediatric hospital patients with a celebration of facial hair was a natural fit for our team! We participate annually by bringing out a group for the Live Bearded "Running with the Beards 5K" in Tempe, AZ, benefitting Phoenix Children's Foundation, which has provided world-class health care to children and families in Arizona for more than 40 years.
GCU Young Life
Tyler combines his love of golf with his servant's heart by volunteering on the GCU Young Life Golf Tournament Committee, helping plan and execute the annual tournament, including recruiting golfers and sponsors. GCU Young Life is a community of people who want the most out of life. The organization exists to help GCU (Grand Canyon University) students grow, mature, and maximize their college experience while learning to give their lives away to others.
Beads of Courage
Beads of Courage is an art-in-medicine program that helps kids with cancer tell their unique treatment story through colorful beads that are symbols of their courage.
