About Me
Hello, I'm William "Billy" Stimson, a U.S. Navy veteran and Financial Representative based in Escondido, California. My journey has been shaped by resilience, precision, and a commitment to service, values I now bring to my role in the financial industry. Born and raised in Michigan, my formative years were spent exploring leadership and the outdoors through Boy Scouts and Sea Scouts, which instilled in me a lifelong love for adventure and teamwork.
Before my naval career, I was an avid sailor, competing in races across Michigan—a passion that naturally led me to enlist in 2019. My military service honed my technical skills and adaptability, experiences I now leverage to provide precise and reliable financial guidance. Whether it was delivering high-precision targeting or navigating the unexpected, my time in the Navy taught me the importance of discipline and strategic thinking.

Today, I channel these strengths into helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. As your financial representative, I aim to demystify complex financial concepts and offer tailored solutions that empower you to focus on what truly matters. I'm here to guide you through strategic planning, ensuring you feel confident in your financial future.
When I'm not assisting clients, I enjoy exploring the Southwest's hiking trails, sailing along the coast, and relaxing at home with friends over video games. A travel enthusiast at heart, I've visited numerous states and countries, always eager for the next adventure. Let's embark on your financial journey together!
How Northwestern Mutual helps you live the life you want.
When people feel better about their money, good things happen—they become more confident and feel more secure. For more than 160 years, Northwestern Mutual has helped people achieve the financial flexibility they need to live more and worry less.
Being a mutual company means Northwestern Mutual reports to its clients, not Wall Street. They don't believe in chasing fads or taking undue risk for short-term gains. Instead, they take a long-term approach—both in the way we help people plan to reach their goals, and in the way they do business. This has served their clients (and mine) well through all kinds of economic ups and downs, including wars, recessions, even the recent pandemic.
It's why I'm happy to be part of a company that's in it for the long-haul and prioritizes clients over profit.
