A Blue-Collar Approach For Optimizing Market Volatility

My roots, my attitude and my work ethic all reflect my blue-collar upbringing. My belief is that nothing replaces hard work and grit. However, I don’t just work hard for you. I strive to bring immediate value to you, and my experience and expertise allows me to be an innovative thinker.

I understand the unique financial implications for individuals in physically demanding careers. I realize the more you have, the more you have to lose. This often leads to fear-based decision making. I will help you reposition your portfolio to help withstand the cyclical nature of your business. You can then be excited about future opportunities and be less concerned about the worst-case scenario.

Who I Serve

As a small business owner of a blue-collar family business that has been in existence for over four decades. I’ve learned valuable lessons about running a successful business, including taxes, regulation, employee retainment, resource management, cash flow and, of course, financial planning.

I’ve also previously managed 30 people across 3 states. I learned not only how to retain employees, but how to coach them, motivate them and ensure that they see their true value to the organization.

My philosophy has always been that our success depends on each other.

I tend to have the greatest impact working with individuals who are involved in the following industries:

  • Oil & Gas professionals, middle to senior management.
    • Recognizing how incredibly cyclical this industry is, I help oil & gas professionals create an insulated, flexible plan that allows them to keep pace with their financial goals, even in a down market.
  • Ancillary businesses that support the Oil & Gas industry.
    • These are typically smaller businesses with fewer than 50 employees, including HVAC, plumbing, electricians, welders and so forth.
  • Medical Field
    • Because of my past medical experience, I’ve also been able to build a base of clients in the medical market, including pathology, family medicine, and the nursing profession.

While I work in Colorado, in these industries I currently have clients in Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah, and California.

Are you asking yourself any of these questions?

“What will happen if I lose my job?”

“What if my company relocates me?”

“What will happen to my retirement plan if my company shuts down?”

“What are the next steps?"

“What’s my plan B?”

“Where do I go from here?”

“Will I still be able to retire?”
