Causes we care about
Along with making the financial lives of our clients better, we're improving our community, too. Through financial support, volunteerism and collaboration with partners, we're helping to build a stronger community.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation
Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in children under the age of 15. ALSF funds cancer research, raises awareness, and supports the families of children with cancer. Since 2012, Northwestern Mutual has donated more than $20 million to support ALSF. Locally, our office is proud to host events such as our annual Lemon Drop Cocktail Party and lemonade stands to raise money that will go toward changing the lives of children with cancer.
Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital
We’re honored to continue our support for the Cancer and Blood Disorders Institute at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. Through our annual Lemon Drop Cocktail Party, we’re helping to fund cutting-edge treatments for the most challenging medical problems that infants, children and teens of our community face.
